Transportation from FCO

Any recommendations for private transport from FCO to an apartment near Piazza Navona? It's been a number of years since we've needed to find this - our last trip, we booked through the hotel where we stayed. I had had some correspondence with Tony for this and another transportation request, but have had no response from him in months. Thanks in advance.

Write to Tony again...he can usually arrange this easily. Or just take a cab from the official rank at the airport.....

Are the taxi rates to central Rome from FCO fixed?

I've emailed Tony a number of times with no response. We had also requested info on transport between Rome and Florence with a few stops along the way - nothing.

The people whose apartment we are renting near Piazza Navona arranged transportation for us yesterday between the airport and the apartment, so we're set. This is the only time we like private transportation after flying from Vancouver to Amsterdam, then to Rome. Jet lag should be minimal but still a bit fuzzy headed.

It is a fixed taxi fare of 48 euro to/from FCO to the city center. This is posted on the side of all the offical taxis in Rome.

We used Rome Shuttle Limousine last May. Airport to Centre Campo Dei Fiori, 2 people, 3 bags, Euro 50. Excellent Service. Sorry, misplaced their website.
