Trastevere Train Station

Footnotes

Does anyone know if the Trastevere train station has a Tobachi shop or vending machine that dispenses Tram tickets? Can't imagine that they don't, but that is the best way to get the old black cloud to strike.

Surely they do: some information on purchases here:

If this is for single rides, note that you can Tap & Go with a contactless credit card as you board, rather than buy a ticket. From what I read, if you tap for enough rides in a day, it converts the charge to the better deal for a daily pass. If you want a multi-day pass, you may need to do a conventional purchase.

Trastevere station has vending machines for tickets and the same ticket is used for tram, bus, or metro in Rome.

Be alert that any time you are at a vending machine and looking confused, that you might be approached by someone offering to "help" At best, just someone looking for a Euro tip; at worst, part of a pickpocket team.
