For UK members and those with VPNs: We just watched two series that we enjoyed very much.
The first was Responder--a gritty show about a Liverpool cop who works the night shift and has personal problems. Sounds formulaic but the writing was excellent and the performances intense--especially Martin Freeman as the protagonist.
The second was Rules of the Game....a murder mystery set cleverly set in a sportswear company in Cheshire with HR problems. Some very witty dialogue, a plot that kept me guessing, and a star performance by Maxine Peake.
