This is a beautiful villa near Novello. Rich and Allegra have done an amazing restoration job and the photos in the website are very accurate so I will not try to recreate them. This is a perfect place for families or a group of friends who wish to explore this area.
We especially appreciated the fact that they sent us complete information regarding the villa and the surrounding area prior to our arrival. Not only did it include everything about the villa, but also restaurant recommendations and things to do. They also provide an informational folder at the villa which is extremely helpful.
One could not ask for more perfect hosts. No question, large or small, went unanswered by Rich and Allegra and it was such a pleasure to meet them (and daughter Bea and dog Otto) after years of following them on their blog and facebook. We left feeling we now have new wonderful friends in Novello.
Everything in the villa was sparkling clean. The kitchen was fully outfitted with plenty of glasses (good wine glasses), plates and cooking gear. All of the bedrooms were roomy and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. We loved everything about the villa. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate so we couldn't use the pool, but did take advantage of the lounge chairs surrounding it. There is a lovely area off to the side with a fire pit where you could easily spend an evening sipping wine.
Their reputation is growing, so if you wish to book you will need to do so well in advance.
