Which Airline do I Check-in With?

Outgoing flight from LAX to Santorini, no problem, booked on British Air all the way. Return flight is from Athens to LAX, booked on British Air, but this leg is operated by American Airlines. I have both British Air and AMerican Airline flight numbers. On return flight, do I check-in with British Airline or American? Either?

I expect it will be the same desk, with both flight numbers listed on the departures board (alternating between the two every few seconds)

Yes, it would be the operating airline. Would I guess that you're connecting through Philadelphia? That's the only American non-stop that I see from Athens.

Give the man a cigar! Yes, we are connecting through Philadelphia. This will be my first time in this airport. I'm hopeful that customs will be faster than LAX. We are in the GOES program so shouldn't be too painful. Thanks Andrew & Ian.
