Hello!

While in Italy this summer I purchased some postage stamps from Italy to the US. I have two left and unlike inexpensive US mail, these were 2.20 euro ea. If you're traveling to Italy soon, and you'll use them please message me and I'll send them to you. I'd hate to waste them.

Hi Laura, if you don't find another use for them, would you consider mailing them to a young boy as a birthday gift?

Kristian is a wonderful 10 year old (soon to turn 11), with autism, who loves stamps and getting mail. His 12 yr old sister Kaitlyn is trying surprise him on his upcoming Sept birthday, and has put out a plea for people around the world to send him a birthday card. More details in this news story. (I must confess to a slight bias as they used to be parishioners of mine, but they truly are amazing kids and this would :bulb: up their hearts big time!)

If anyone wishes to send a card, his address is:
Kristian Hayes
P.O. Box 286
Stellarton NS B0K 1S0
Canada

Thanks! Anne

Anne,
Consider it done!!
This makes me happy. I am going to pass the word and try to help generate the birthday cards!

Update for those who might have sent a card, or even just a happy thought, Kristian's way...his sister's birthday gift exceeded her wildest expectations - she'd hoped he might receive 50-60 letters - but, in fact, 4,100 pieces of mail poured in from around the world. (More details in this article in their local paper.) How awesome is that?!
