Looking for equal to Slow Travel Forums for other parts of the world.

Slow Europe is my go to, I find that TA and Fodors which were my go to are not doing it for me like they did, are there other forums that offer genuine ideas and questions?

You could look at Rick Steves, some of the members who reply regularly are knowledgeable and helpful, less superficial than TA, and not so dominated by just a few 'repliers' like Fodors....

I've found that joining some Facebook groups for the destination can be really helpful if you find the right one. It needs good moderators (that get rid of operators selling services) and a bit of activity. Also you can often join the community page for a place that you are going - lots of local insights (and lost dogs).
