4 Nights in the Lot River Valley

After we leave St Cyprien we'll head south for 4 nights. We know we want to visit Cahors, and maybe because it's larger it would be a good place to base - or not? There are vineyards in this area, and charming villages with wineries no doubt!

Also on our list is St Cirq Lapopie, and the caves of Pech Merle.

Any ideas on where to base for these 4 nights? We might have to stay in a hotel instead of an apartment for this shorter period, and I'm fine either way. If we could have an apt that would be great, but if not, we'll make do.

I found it Pauline, but I don't know how to link to it! Ann stayed in St Cirq Lapopie, but I've decided to stay in Cahors and have booked THIS apartment in Cahors for 4 nights. So now I'm all booked!!! Thanks everyone!

Barb, love the apartment! You are near the restaurant in Les Arcs called "Le Recreation"...I know it is under new ownership since the ever popular book ("You Can't See Paris From Here") but reviews are still great.
