5 Nights in Paris - Hotel?

We will be in Paris in March for 5 nights at the end of a longer trip to Sicily. We almost always rent houses or apartments when in Europe, but are looking for a hotel this time, We do not need to be in the very, very center of the city as long as there is easy access by metro. We are looking for comfort and convenience and are less focused on price (within reason).

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

How fun! We Love the 6th, near the Pantheon and Jardins du Luxembourg. Years ago we stayed in what has been renamed (and possibly re-done) Hotel des Grands Hommes. It was really nice, and by booking online early we were able to get the reservation at a decent rate (NOT cheap but also not prohibitively expensive).

There was a time here, on this site, that the Hotel des Grandes Ecoles was consistently highly rated.

The last time, 2019, that we were in Paris we stayed in an "apart hotel" in the1st.

I know the woman who owns this aparment and have stayed in one of her rentals elsewhere. I don't know what the price for March would be, but I've always thought about staying here. Also, it doesn't fit the bill for your apartment request.

I agree with the recommendation of Hotel des Grands Hommes. Very good location and accommodations. But isn’t that the 5th?
