Contest 2019 Winner!
I was a prize winner in the latest SlowEurope Contest; and my prize was a private tour with Tony of 3 Millenia Tours in Rome.
Three friends and I met Tony one evening in September; and we had a great time with him as he showed us some of the back streets of Rome , pointing out details and sharing stories and events about the city that we would never have found out for ourselves.
Afterward, he joined us for a fun filled dinner in Trastevere; and we had a great time sharing stories and hearing about his life in Rome and the US.
He also gave us a little lesson about wine too.
We did have to tease him a bit about his favourite musical artist, but all in good spirit! ;)
Two of the friends I was with went on a couple of days later to join a weeks' Southern Italy tour with a very well known Seattle based company; and said afterward that they wished daily that Tony had been their guide on that trip.
So: thank you again, Pauline; and thank you again Tony.
It was a highlight of this recent trip to Italy!
If you are going to Rome, you will not go wrong if you take a tour from 3 Millennia Tours!
