I'm a Canadian from the West Coast and used the Slow Travel web site a lot several years ago while planning many trips to Europe, especially Italy, which is our favourite European country. Next fall, we will hopefully be in Europe again and plan to do a combined river cruise and land holiday trying some new countries such as Netherlands, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. I'll be looking to see what I can find regarding river cruises (sort of a form of slow travel) and visits to the cities on route and nearby the Danube and the Rhine.
