I am DebT from South Jersey. My husband and I have been travelling to Sicily/Italy since 2000. My husband's family, both fraternal and maternal were from Sicily. For him, it always feels like coming home. I am not of Italian ancestry but have fallen in love with the island and feel the same. Our visits tend to focus on archaeology/history and, since the explosion of the wine industry, we've spent many happy hours exploring the wines of Mt. Etna and some of it's wineries. I was an infrequent contributor, most on Sicily, on Slow Travel. I would also admit to some travel via three cruises and three Smithsonian tours.
