My wife and I found tremendous resources for travel planning on the Slow Travel boards and we are looking forward to doing the same here. As a bonus, we formed a wonderful friendship with another poster (Vico Girl) who turned out to have a house very near ours (we're near Lucca; she's near Bagni di Lucca).
My wife is of Italian heritage and traveled to Italy extensively before we were married. We are now approaching our 30th year of joint travel to Italy and have managed to work in 50+ other countries during our travels. In the past year, we've been to Italy, Malta, the Galapagos Islands, and Iceland. We'll be in Italy, France, England, and Aruba this year (spring, fall, and winter trips).
We hope to be able to share some of our experiences while adding new destinations to our plans based on the contributions of other members. Thanks for having us ;-)
