Another Old Slow Traveler

Marlene

Just arriving from Slow Travelers. I haunted that forum for years trading tips on travel to Italy. Loved it even those years when I couldn't travel. I will miss all the good stuff on the Slow Travel main site.

About me: live outside Boston and am grateful that at seventy-something I can still travel to Italy. Going to Lucca in May.

Ciao Marlene....Mindy from Quincy here :)

So fun to see so many from that "other" site here. Hope we keep SlowEurope going strong!!

I've never been to Lucca. I know I'd love it there! I'm going to Florence for a few days in mid Sept. Then to Siena for 1 week and Positano 1 week.

"see" you around!!

Ciao Gail! I'm excited to see Letizia! I'm going to a cooking class she is doing at ColleenK's house on April 2nd. Whoo hoo!! Colleen has helped arrange most (if not all) of Letizia's classes, speaking engagements, etc. here in Boston. I'm happy for Letizia, I know she will have a blast. A great opportunity for her to meet new people who will want to stay at her B&B in Assisi....and buy her cookbook. :dancingcow::dork:

Ciao for now.
