It is hard to believe this story, but Anthony Bourdain - celebrity chef and world traveler - committed suicide at a hotel in France, near Strasbourg.

I loved his book Kitchen Confidential and watched many of his No Reservations TV shows.

I was shocked when I woke up and read the news this morning. It's so sad, especially for his daughter. I loved how he was so open to every culture and how he showcased them. I would never dare to try some of the foods he ate on some of his shows but loved watching his shows.

I can't get this out of my mind. It is tragic. I am so sad; and like you said Susan, my heart is with his daughter.
