Aqueducts in/near Rome

Hi folks! We will be in Rome at the end of the month/early October traveling with my parents. My father is an avid photographer and is interested in seeing/photographing some aqueducts. He was reading about both the large Park of the Aqueducts (a bit further outside the city) as well as the aqueducts at Porta Maggiore (which appears to be closer; we are staying in Trastevere).

I'm wondering if anyone here has visited either/both and if so, do you have thoughts on which was more appealing, especially for taking photographs. Or are there others we might consider?

Thanks!

Have only been to Aqueduct Park near Cinecitta, but was a worthwhile trip. You can also do a really interesting tour of Cinecitta while in the neighborhood. One of the best restaurants we've ever found in Rome was Meo Pinelli a Metro stop away from cinecitta.
