It looks like the "wind is in from Africa ...". Strange to think of African sand here in England, but our car was covered in it a couple of days ago and today Steve and I are both feeling spring allergy symptons - ugh. Won't this dust be even worse in Sicily, where we are headed in a few days?

This is the downside in living in such a densely populated region. The upside - lots of places to visit and things to do.

For what it's worth, there's no sign of the Saharan dust here in Puglia. Anyway, if Sicily has had a dry spring, there's probably enough indigenous dust there... Have a good trip!
