Telegraph -The best English villages, Nov 26 2014
Following the conclusion of Penelope Keith's "Hidden Villages" series, Telegraph Travel nominates 18 of its favourites
An interesting collection of villages and I am happy to say that my village, Painswick (in the Cotswolds), is #16, after two other Cotswold greats - Blockley (near Chipping Campden) and the Slaughters (near Stow).
