Ann Reavis has published her second book about Italy, "Italian Life Rules" (available on Amazon in paperback or for the Kindle), a companion to her first book "Italian Food Rules".
This book discusses those Italian things that mystify many travelers - Why are many Italians devoted to their town and don't move away? Why is a day at the beach in Italy unlike any you experience in the US or the UK? What do those odd hand gestures mean? Why aren't there screens on the windows? When do I open the window shutters and when do I close them?
Both of these books are good preparation for a trip to Italy.
