I'm wondering if it's absolutely necessary to buy advance tickets. Has anyone been able to just go? I'm willing to wait in a short line, but not for an extended one. I'm trying to not make any plans, ahead, and just do what I feel like doing on any particular day.

When are you going? In May 2022, there was no line. I don’t think it’s high on the tourism list. I didn’t notice any long lines when I walked by it in May 2023.

I was there last month and there was no line early in the day. When I left there appeared to be a tour group waiting, but even then the line was not long.
