Cotswold restaurant or tea suggestions?

Hi, we're going to be walking in the Cotswolds the end of June and I'm wondering if anyone has favorite restaurants in or near these towns: Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton on the Water, Winchcombe, or Chipping Campden. Thanks!

There are good tea rooms in all the Cotswolds market towns. I haven’t been there in a few years so some may have changed. These towns are small so you can walk around and choose the one that looks best. Broadway also has several tea rooms and is in this area.

Sorry I can’t give you specific recommendations but there are very few bad tea rooms in the Cotswolds.

Here are our articles about the Cotswolds.

Thank you. Do we typically have to make reservations there, or can we try and play it by ear (which we'd prefer).

We were just in the Cotswolds in April. We stayed in and enjoyed Stow on the Wold and felt they had a great selection of restaurants. They also had a nice casual tea room in the square.

Oops i hit enter too quickly. We ate two nights where we stayed. Stow lodge hotel and thought their meals and service was great. We also ate at the Bell in the square for the sunday roasr and really liked it.

Two weeks ago we had a very nice lunch at the Mount Inn in Stanton. The food was very good and the view from the Inn is spectacular.

We spent a week traversing many towns in the Cotswolds and we thought Stanton was among the most beautiful. It is not so commercial as Moreton and Burton. In fact I think the Mount Inn is the only commercial place in town.
