GeoGuessr

I'm not a big computer game player, but a friend recently told me about GeoGuessr (www.geoguessr.com). I'm hooked, I can't stop playing. Essentially, you see a Google map of somewhere and you have to figure out where you are. There are hints around - street signs, topography, vehicles, people, shops, etc. - and you get points for coming close to the destination. Last night I visited Mexico, Spain and Montana.

Great fun for the traveler.

It is hard. But I like trying to figure it all out. Just discovered I could limit the photos to more specific places, like Europe or US. I was all over the globe for a while there.

I thought the game gave me easy scenes -- I could look at vegetation, the roofs of houses, the cars (license plates were blurred out), the type of road construction and narrow it down from those clues. Also, because I could "move" along the arrows as with Google street view, I looked around each scene, too.
