Girona lunch restaurant

Hi all. My son and I will be doing a day trip from Barcelona to Girona in May. Do you have suggestions for a good, generally casual lunch restaurant there? Thanks in advance.

We had a great lunch at Llevataps—friendly service, nice wine list, and creative Catalan dishes. It’s small, so I’d book ahead if you’re going around peak lunch time.

I had a really good meal at Restaurant Nu near the old town—it’s modern but still cozy. There’s also Llevataps, which does creative Catalan dishes and a decent lunch menu. A fun surprise was this restaurant Bangkok — of course itæs far, but Thai food is way better than I expected.

Llevataps is definitely closed. It has been for some years. But very close and also casual is Brots di Vi. You should reserve (via whatsapp) if you can.

I know most people don't want Mexican food in Europe but I love, love, love Maguey.
