Okay, I'm not literally writing this from Berlin right this instant but I'll be based there starting in July. I'm an American looking forward to using Berlin as a base to see lots of Europe--I've spent time in Spain, Croatia, and some Eastern European countries but there's loads more exploring to do! I used to lurk on the old Slow Travel board 10+ years ago, and though I'm sad to see that forum is gone I was very happy I was able to follow an internet breadcrumb trail to find my way here. Looking forward to reading the tips of other slow travelers and being able to offer some of my own.
