I was a long time beneficiary of and occasional contributor to Slow Travel. My wife and I have a small apartment in Montone and so we spend as much time in Umbria and elsewhere in Italy every year that work allows. We also regularly visit Edinburgh in August, and enjoy adding a new site and a new festival in Europe to our travels most years.
