Hello slowtrav refugees

I used to go on the old slowtrav forums quite frequently around the 2008-2010 period. Then I was stationed in Italy for a couple years and pretty much relied on locals and facebook. But I'm in the US again. Made so many friends in Italy it is expensive to return and see them all! Before I traveled with my whole family. Now just mom and I will be exploring southern Italy, specifically Sicilia!
