I read something a few years ago about the slow-travel philosophy. I'm 75, mostly retired, and a solo. I do all my own planning and stay in hostels for fun and frugality. I love Ireland, but, just about anywhere "out of my comfort zone" keeps me young. My next big trip is 5 weeks to Lisbon and Italy, including a 10-day NCL cruise. Can't wait!
