How Do I Find a Reliable Consolidator?

A friend recently gave me contact info for the consolidator he uses, but so far I've received no reply to my online requests, and phone calls are never answered. I did a Google search and it seems that many consolidators aren't reliable, with many just reselling FF miles. Does anyone use a reliable consolidator? TIA

It is advised to double-check everything when dealing with a consolidator. They are not reliable all the time. One thing you have to make sure is the consolidator holds the necessary licenses and insurance coverage required by local authorities. This helps protect you in case of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies during your trip.

I use Skylux and have a few times and been pleased with the results == we just returned from Lyon, France, and first class RT cost about $3800 - and no complaints on schedule or flights etc. [we are fortunate to be able to travel first or business].
