For many years I was Lindy on SlowTrav.com, but that name was apparently already taken on this site. Normally my husband and I travel and like renting apartments in cities and going everywhere on public transportation.
The trip I'm researching now is different: a friend and I are taking a walking trip based in Kenmare this summer and then traveling on our own for 5 days using only public transportation. Dublin and Galway seem like the obvious places to me, but we are also interested in some smaller towns off the main tourist circuit. Any suggestions? Our walking group leaves us at Shannon airport on June 30.
