Italy to France plugs

It has been a few years since we visited France and I don't recall if the plugs are the same as here in Italy. Will our Italian power cords fit the French plugs?

Italy and France have the same plugs. All of Europe use the same style - only the UK have different plugs.

BUT we went to Tuscany with our Europe adapters (to adapt our UK and US plugs to Europe) and we found that some adapters did not work in some Italy plugs! I think they must have been an old style Italy plug, because there were adapters in the apartment that we put in them and then we could plug our Europe adapters into them.

One thing we have found handy for traveling to Europe, is to purchase a European USB plug. Since so many things now charge with a cable connected to a USB input, we can just bring cables and our Europe USB plug to charge everything.

When we first moved to Italy and stayed at a friend's house near Anzio they had three different types of plugs in the house and a drawer full of adapters.
