TV Series Mafiosa

So I just finished Season 5 of this French television series set on Corsica....after the first few episodes, I didn't envision getting through five seasons but it grew on me. Available on Channel 4 and Walter Presents, the hook is that the "boss" is a woman but it is essentially a "mob" series with all the interplay and tensions that evokes. An added plus is the Corsican landscape....

I liked the character development even if the story went over the top at times. And the lead actress--Helene Filliere--has to be the slimmest woman on the planet...

Anyone else seen it?

Is it on PBS? I have not seen that series, but it sounds interesting.

Not on PBS.....it was on Channel 4 in England. Not sure where it can be streamed now....
