I am thinking about a trip to Monza for the races Sept 9-11. Arriving Sept 3, spending a few nights in Milan (possible day trip to Bergamo), and a few nights on a lake where I can swim. But what lake is that? Maybe one of the smaller ones? Or are they all too cold?
Alternative is maybe an agriturismo near Monza or Parma?
Of course open to a charming hotel in Monza too, although I think are all already booked for that weekend.
Other ideas?
