Well, after lots of planning it is only a little over two weeks until we leave for France. We fly into Lyon on August 31 and with the exception of the first night, we will be staying in gites the whole time. We will be visiting the Drome, the Var, Lozere ( gorges of the Tarn ), Puy de Dome, the Lot , the Aude ( Minervois region almost in the Herault ), the Ardeche ( near the border to the Gard ) and finally Burgundy . With the exception of Burgundy these are all new places but some border areas we have stayed in previously. So as well as seeing lots of new places, we will also have some opportunities to return to some we have seen before.
Our gites are all booked and we are just doing some research on the areas. We are excited as we always are because we know how great it will be to be once again spending ten weeks travelling in France. I will do a report when we return
Happy travels.

Have a wonderful trip.
In 4 weeks we leave for France ( Paris and Provence) and Italy ( Venice and Bologna), for 9 weeks. Can’t wait.
I always enjoy your reports.

Sounds wonderful too. Have a great trip.
