Several years ago we spent a wonderful week at the Coeur de France language school in Sancerre. The owner of the school had a little private plane and took us up for a flight over the area. The first photo shows a chateau amidst some of the gorgeous yellow fields of colza (canola, or rapeseed) that dot the area in May. The second one is a view across the Loire to Charité sur Loire.

We stayed in this vacation rental in Lenk, Switzerland twice. It has the most amazing views of Lenk but it is 7 minutes of a very narrow mountain road to get to the house. Now we stay in town, but I miss those views. One at night, one in daytime.
