Wow, what a view from your apt.
There is an official "panoramic point" in the town, my wife and I had ourselves a picnic on one of the benches there (I never know if this is frowned upon or not). Your view is even better it seems!

Our view is towards Barbaresco and Nieve, we hiked that loop yesterday! This bedroom balcony pic has Barbaresco tower in upper right

Lovely views of a favourite part of the world

How was the walking and did you take paths through the vineyards or along the (quiet) roads?

Lovely to see a Ruché there, very much an under the radar grape, and the sort that when you asked for it might have got a nod of approval from the person in the shop / enoteca.

Beerman - so glad you were able to find some Ruché. It is one of our household favorites. There is only two that I know you can buy in Virginia.

I cannot tell you how much fun we had at Boffa. We truly enjoyed their wines and we were the only folks in the place. The winemaker's wife was pouring. I would love to have the still they had on display. As for wines... We started on the right and worked our way to left. I have not been able to find their wines in VA, however, they are imported into PA. Road Trip!

Thanks for the memories!

We used AllTrails app and walked Neive to Barbaresco round trip. it was sunny and warm 88f. Maybe 12ikm, Beautiful and a work out! Vineyards such as Gaja were amazing, also hazelnut, plum, peach, pear, apricot, etc. everywhere. Can’t wait to load my camera pics on the computer…
