This apartment is huge! It is also just steps away from the Pantheon, tons of restaurants and is in the heart of Rome. It's on the first floor (euro) in a secure building with elevator (unnecessary on 1st floor). The apartment is as pictured on the website with two exceptions: 1) it doesn't gleam & glow - in fact the walls look a little tired 2) it doesn't indicate how much easy storage is in the bedrooms and how large the bathroom is.

This apartment has a great kitchen and we did cook in it; it's a little short on plates & glasses and lacks a good knife, but don't they all? The refrigerator is gigantic by European standards. There's even a dishwasher. The table in the living room is in front of a large window and easily seats 5 or 6. There is a permanent AC unit in this room.

The two bedrooms each have their own permanent AC unit and tons of storage. Either room could be the "master" if you push/pull beds apart. As it's set up on the website the master is on the street side and is very, very large and the second, smaller room, is on the quiet courtyard side. This street is very small, maybe considered an alley, but noisy with the windows opened - mostly pedestrian & late-night noise.

The bathroom is enormous with a wonderful, large shower. There's also a washing maching and drying rack (which when open will NOT infringe on your space).

From Home To Rome was easy to work with, easy to contact and we'd use them again. I highly reccommend this apartment.

I think this apartment would be good for a family with small children, even a baby because the bedroom is large enough for a PackNPlay/baby bed. It's large enough children could play in on a rainy day.
