Walking/Hiking Spello Aqueduct

We are spending a week in Spoleto soon and hope to do several days of hiking. There are good trails from Spoleto, but I am hoping to do the Spello Aqueduct trail.

Rebecca (Brigolante) has a good description of the hike on her blog - No Regrets: Hiking the Spello-Collepino Roman Aqueduct Trail.

The trail starts at the top of Spello and it looks like we can park up there, avoiding the long climb up through town. There is a parking lot on Via Poeta. Has anyone parked up there? Or done this walk?

Pauline - I don't know anything about the trail, but know the town well as we lived there for a month. There is public parking at the very top near Hotel (I think it was called) Bastione. The start of the trail is very close by.
