Warsaw and…

We visited Krakow last year and loved it. We now want to explore more of Poland.
Warsaw is on our list as is Gdansk .
Other recommendations? We like history, museums, churches.My neighbors , who travel to Poland fairly frequently, suggested Torun, Wroclaw and Lublin.

Thoughts? Suggestion? We plan to travel in late September for about 3 weeks.

I mentioned seeing this post to my (teen) daughter on the way to school this morning. We talked about the 2024 trip we took to Poland. We both would love to return to Gdansk and Krakow. We stayed in the city center of both towns and had an absolutely great time. We also did go to Warsaw. While we're not unhappy that we went, we would not return. It does not have the same charm as the other two towns, and the museums that we went to in Warsaw were not as well organized and run as the other two towns.

In Gdansk the museum highlight was the Museum of the Second World War.

The Warsaw Rising Museum stands out as a very meh experience. It was very poorly laid out, had lousy audio guides, and was not crowd controlled. The Polin Museum was interesting and better run.

You're going for quite a long time; you will have a blast!
