Taylor Swift tour in Europe this summer

The Taylor Swift concerts in Europe this summer could cause travelers to change their plans. Hotels and Airbnbs will be fully booked in the locations and I think more people will be traveling to get to those destinations. Something to consider when planning.

Tour dates start in May 9 in Paris, then to Sweden, Portugal, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria, ending August 20 in back in the United Kingdom.

Reminds me of having to log a project risk, because Garth Brooks was playing concerts in Dublin.

Those of us on the project team travelling for work were likely to not find anywhere to stay that week (IIRC our go live weekend), because a shockingly large proportion of West coasters are really into their country music, and this was as big an artist as there is, and he'd not played there for a decade or more.

In the end, a dispute with the local council about how many nights he'd play at the Aviva stadium, resulted in all the dates being cancelled, and our project delivered on the original schedule. Phew!

It is something about how they released the concert tickets that people in Europe will be traveling to other countries for the concerts even if she is coming to their country.
