Abroadleap2016

Welcome to the forums! Do you have a website or blog or Facebook page where you are posting about your travels?

What country are you in now?

We did the same thing but 30 years ago. We spent a year traveling in Europe and two more years traveling in the US. After that we had to settle down and go back to work. It was life changing for us.

We are currently in London for 3 weeks and will soon be moving to Rome for one month. I write a blog but prefer to keep it private for close family and friends. In 2016, we lived in 10 countries moving every 4 to 6 weeks. This experience has been life changing for us as well! We originally planned to travel for one year, but early on we could not envision an end in sight and began to plan for 2017. It has been interesting to read about your experiences and your choice to stay in the Cotswolds for several years. We too fell in love with the Cotswolds and walking the many public paths! Our FarmStay hosts have become family to us, and we will be returning to stay with them again this summer. We will be in Switzerland in May and found your post about Hiking in Grindelwald to be very helpful. In fact the chalet we rented in Switzerland came from a recommendation from a Slow Europe Travel member.
