The zigzaggy river in the photo is on the edge of Saint Cirq Lapopie in the Lot, where we were staying.
As for the drive up and down Sainte Agnès, may I point out that Grace Kelly died on a nearby road that is similar in its sharp windy corners, but that fateful road was a little wider. My mother-in-law had her eyes closed the entire time whenever we were driving on the Sainte Agnès road.
