Can anyone ID this village?

Can anyone identify this village? I'm going all over Italy this summer, and love to photograph villages. (This one was featured in a Fiat commercial.)

I thought Pitigliano too. It is a great place to visit - in southern Tuscany near the border with Lazio. There is a great history, including being settled by the Etruscans. We visited there last summer and walked on the ancient Etruscan pathways (pathways carved into the rock and used over 2000 years ago). I am writing a Slow Europe Day Trip about that now. Meanwhile, here is a photo of them. There are many of them just outside Pitigliano.

Thanks. Any suggestions for other beautiful villages? I'm going to the north (Como, Turin), to Tuscany, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast.

There are many lovely villages all over Italy. On your way south you could stop in some of the Liguria seaside towns - Camogli, Levanto, Portovenere. In Tuscany you could stop at Monteriggioni (south of Florence), then San Quirico d'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, then Pitigliano. In Lazio stop at Viterbo, then Sperlonga (coast town, south of Rome).

What are you looking for? Smaller places? Art, architecture, wine, food? On the tourist trail or off? Is this your first time to Italy or have you been before?

This is not my first trip. I'm looking for beautiful villages, though of course I enjoy food, sun, and the rest. I have been to leavanto and Portovenere. Not sure about Monteriggioni; will have to Google it. The rest you mentioned are on my list, so great!
