World's longest hanging pedestrian bridge opens at Zermatt. For those of us who find heights uncomfortable, this may not be as appealing as it might be to others. Looks like it's single file as well.

While I trust Swiss engineering, I am not brave enough to do this bridge. Yikes!! We've been to Zermatt a few times but I've never heard of this bridge.

Ooooh! I don't think I would be able to cross this bridge! I wonder if it swings at all or if it is fixed?

The article says the supports are designed to stop it swinging, but I'd assume there would still be some movement.

There is a video of someone walking over the bridge but I had to stop watching because I was getting queasy!

I can't see where this bridge is. The Zermatt Tourist website says it is between Grachen and Randa, 2.5hr walk from Randa, 6 - 7hr walk from Grachen. Maybe Google Maps will do a street view!

In my need to show a google map of the location of this bridge, I finally spent the time I needed to set up the forums for the current format for Google Maps. They change the formats of their URL every year!!
