We will be staying at Sofitel LHR T5 for two nights in the second week of October. We will be jet lagged but want to do something on our full day there, nothing too taxing. Thinking of Hampton Court (we have never been) or Kew Gardens (been there many years ago). Which will be easier to get to using public transport?

Would sure appreciate any suggestions - what to see, where to eat, how to get there, etc.

I’ve been to Hampton Court In November and it was great. Back then, I think we used the Waterloo station to train out, then it was a truly short walk to the grounds.

I was at Kew Gardens over a week ago, to see the Chihuly Exhibit. In October, I’d recommend Hampton Court.
