Hello,

Our trip to Italy will take us to Sorrento for just one night...it's an "overnight" from our week in Rome. Is there a "right" brand to taste and buy? More importantly, is there a "wrong" one?! I am aware that we can order it throughout Italy, but is there something special we should know? A tour or small producer that is worth a visit?

Thank you!
Laura

Gail Hecko, who leads tours on the Amalfi Coast (Gail's Great Escapes), posted recently on Facebook about a Lemon Tour she took her guests on. It was with Salvatore Aceto - La Valle Dei Mulini - LEMON TOUR Amalfi - link to his Facebook page.

I can't find a website for him, but when I googled I found other Lemon Tours. An interesting idea!

I think there are many small producers in the Amalfi/Sorrento area. You could go into an Enoteca in Sorrento to find some of the local, small producers. I love the huge lemons from that area.
