Christmas and Holiday Greetings to all...
Wishing everyone a better year in 2022; for travel, health, and everything else!:)

And...Thank You Pauline, for your great work keeping the site going.
Ditto and ditto!

We just arrived back from Quebec City for Christmas. We have spent 2 other Christmases there and this one was a bit depressing. The covid restrictions really limited the crowd and the activities. We were supposed to stay until the 27th, but we came back today.

I'm hoping for *any* travel in 2022 ;)
We've travelled less often to a different county over the past 2 years, than we normally travel to Italy!!

We just finished the last drops of a great Amaro from our last trip to Bologna in 2018, and still have a bit of grappa from the same trip (bought at the Poli distillery in Bassano del Grappa). There are advantages to being light drinkers... ;).
Was hoping to get a bottle of Genepy through a planned ski trip of my son-in-law next week to the Italian Alps - but Omicron took care of that.... :(.
