This is a good travelogue by Dean Nicholson who became an Instagram sensation after The Dodo published a video about this Scottish guy riding his bike around the world with a cat that found him along the way. The story is well written and we follow him as from when he found the kitten, Nala, beside the road in Montenegro (I think), and the two of them continue to Greece and further through Turkey and Georgia, reaching Azerbaijan before the coronavirus paused his ride.
The book made me lookup all these countries on Google Maps and now I want to go to Georgia. Steve was there in the 1970s but I’ve never been to that area.
