News - Updates on Vacation Rentals in Italy

Do you remember Cristina from SlowTrav and Expats in Italy? Cristina and her family now have an estate in Chianti (Tuscany), near Vagliagli, and are offering 6 vacation rental apartments. Aiolina

Normally we don't advertise specific places like this, but since many of us have known Cristina for years, I thought people would like to know.

And on the minus side, Rebecca (Brigolante) is no longer offering apartments in Assisi or vacation rentals in the countryside at Brigolante. She has moved on to other travel related adventures.

Does anyone else have any updates on travel businesses in Italy?

Great news about Cristina but sorry to hear that Rebecca is moving on. I think I might be going to Umbria in the fall, I guess too late.

I was selfishly disappointed about the Assisi apartments as I really wanted to stay in the one with the view on the piazza...but so happy for Rebecca. And great news for Cristina and her family.

It looks like Dolce Roma, apartments in Rome, is gone! The website is no longer there. I was going to ask them to donate a prize!

Hi Pauline, I see that Natalia is still renting at least one of her apartments (the Monti monolocale) through the HomeAway website. She has always had a listing there and I just responded to a post from someone who has rented here Monti apartment. Perhaps I'll send her an email to ask what is happening with Dolce Roma.
