One month at a seaside town

I would like to spend a month at a seaside/beach town. Looking for a studio or a room in a home in May/June. I speak Italian, am very clean and quiet and will be spending my time on the beach, reading, walking and taking side trips using public transportation. Must be in a safe area walking distance to restaurants and beach.

I fell in love with Lerici, in Liguria. Perfect little town right on the Gulf of poets.

I like Lerici also. Many of the towns along the Ligurian coast are very nice. I also like Levanto, north of the Cinque Terre. You can walk from Levanto into the Cinque Terre, or take the train.

Im going to have to agree with Pati. I fell in love with Lerici when i spent a summer in Italy a few years ago. Its definitely at least worth a visit.
