We leave in a few days! Thanks for all the suggestions. I copied and pasted them into a Word doc. These plus the notes the vacation rental owners sent should give us some good suggestions. I have the Cadogan Guide for the area too.
We are doing this trip in April to get a hit of sunshine and warmth, but we just had a week of summer here in England (high 60s) and next Tuesday it is forecast to be 72F here (and a couple degrees lower in Ostuni). Still, the sunshine is stronger there and we will be nearer the sea and I am looking forward to exploring a new area.
This time last year we were in Sicily and had two weeks of good sunshine and explored a new area.
